My wife and I recently stayed for a week at Hotel Seeschlößen in Waldeck and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. This family run hotel is low key and relaxing and Family Cissée und Danz could not have been more friendly. Their hotel is clean and well cared for and the neighborhood is quiet with charming views of the lake and Schloß Waldeck. We have stayed at many hotels in Germany over the years and none have been more inviting and livable for an entire week’s stay. If you are looking for a nice getaway in a rural german countryside village, this hotel is your place.
